Mechanical Maintenance Fitter
Minffordd Quarry near Porthmadog, North Wales.
- Permanent position

The role will involve carrying out pro-active maintenance duties on a busy hard rock quarry and asphalt plant and associated equipment, as well as responding to plant breakdowns. Other duties will include planned preventative maintenance to ensure plant and equipment on site are safe, working effectively and fit for purpose. You will work with the quarry management to maintain high plant availability and production efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a fixed plant fitter within an extractives or heavy industrial environment, and have a full UK driving licence. It is desirable that you have experience in welding/fabrication, confined space work and working at heights
As well as working as part of our existing maintenance team, you will also be required on occasion to work on your own using your own initiative, so it is important you have good problem-solving skills. Some weekend work will be required.
