We're looking for a Mechanical Package Engineer to join our Utilities team based at our Mogden Water Treatment works site in Twickenham, the UK's 3rd largest treatment works. Within this role, you can enjoy exposure to an exciting major project, essential to servicing around 2.1 million people!

Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Package Engineer, you'll be working in our Utilities team to provide mechanical expertise on projects at our live environment Mogden site, a project operating within the water industry. You'll help implement engineering design solutions on the UK's third largest running treatment works, alongside the supply chain, product suppliers, framework suppliers, and designers.

Your day to day will include:

  • Establishing client requirements and helping with the delivery of engineering design solutions.
  • Assist with preparation of flowsheets and engineering line diagrams
  • Supervise plant layout and pipework design including 3D modelling
  • Generate and supervise preparation of data sheets, piping and equipment specifications, technical appraisals and selection.
  • Site support during construction and commissioning including field engineering assignments

What are we looking for?

This Mechanical Engineer role is great for you if have:


  • Experience of mechanical design engineering in process related industries in particular the Water Industry; Sewage Works and Water works.
  • Good knowledge of equipment - such as any or all of the following: pumps, submersibles, air blowers, gas works, holding tanks, washwater systems etc
  • Specific expertise in the design, layout, engineering and specification of process plant and piping for the Water industry
