Mechanical Project Manager
East Sussex
Salary £50K-£55K

Our client is looking to add a mechanical project manager to a developing team to work alongside an electrical project manager and run 2 to 3 projects with on site management teams.

Office location would be East Sussex and current projects you will be working on are based in West London

Duties include

Overall project management of mainly 2 £600k mechanical projects and a 1 smaller
Managing site managers on 2-3 projects
Managing external consultants, drawings, design, tech subs
Managing and producing Program
Procurement management
Variation management t
Applications and assessments of works and sub-contractor works
Planning quality checks

Candidate Skills

5 + years of experienced within Mechanical M&E works
Client facing with the ability to meet and discuss Operational matters with Building Management, Staff and Client representatives.
Forward thinking individual with the ability to make own decisions
Capable on use of MS packages, word, excel and e-permit systems
Good and effective communicator
Ability to enforce process well and table new ideas.
Ability to chair Client and Sub Contract meetings
Ability to programme Manage and sequence with other trades
Enjoys meeting new people and some socialising with colleagues

Knowledge skills & experience


* Mechanical qualifications essential
* Preferably educated to degree level (desirable)
* Team management and leadership skills
* Dynamic, enthusiastic and capable of inspiring a team
* Ability to work to tight deadlines - sometimes outside normal office hours
* Excellent planning and time management skills
* Commitment to continuous improvement
* Customer focused in order to build productive relationships;
* Ability to make reasoned and informed judgements and decisions;
* Sound technical (M&E) abilities
* Having a professional approach to work
* Excellent presentation skills
* Creative and innovative approach to problem solving
* Evidence of success in a similar role.
