We're working with a market leading contractor who are seeking an Mechanical QAQC Lead to join their team on the delivery of Hyperscale Data Centre Construction projects in the Netherlands.

Job Description

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical installation quality for a large value, high-tech facility. This will include equipment & material receipt inspections, fabrication inspections, weld inspections, installation inspections, generation of punch lists and de-snagging.

  • The successful candidate will be required to liaise with in-house mechanical & electrical teams and external project partners including vendors and subcontractors.

  • Role will comprise QAQC walkdown, inspection and documentation associated with Equipment; Piping systems (carbon steel); HVAC ducting systems; Plumbing & drainage systems; Preparation of test packs; witnessing of pressure testing; Maintaining and presenting weld information & records; Weekly reporting

  • The candidate will be required to work closely with the Project Manager and construction team to ensure quality standards are achieved with minimal snags.

Skills and Requirements

  • Academic and/or trades qualifications in Mechanical discipline
  • 10 years Mechanical QAQC experience in Industrial-type projects with minimum 5 years exp in a Lead role
  • Role will be Client facing so good communication skills and presentation is essential.
  • Data center experience preferable but not essential
  • Knowledge and experience of piping and HVAC system is required
