Our client covers all aspects of mechanical and electrical (M&E) work as well as data centre infrastructure installation. They are experienced in working with major brands across Europe and beyond, our client understands and delivers the level of consistency needed in regional, national and international fit-out and refurbishment plans. They are also a leading principal contractor and installer of secure data centres infrastructure for leading defence and financial institutions. Our client is one of the leading suppliers delivering best-in-class project management and the installation of data infrastructure projects for bespoke, data centre buildings. As an experienced principal contractor and installer, our specialist team works with leading data centre organisations including defence and financial institutions. They are currently looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to be based on site in Frankfurt, this will be a one year contact

Duties
The position will help ensure overall work quality is maintained and ensure the construction phase is completed within programme deadlines.
Responsible for the offloading/positioning and installation of Adiabatic Units, Boosted Cold Water Supply, Drainage Systems, Smoke Extract Systems, Ventilation Systems, Air Conditioning Systems, Heat Tracing, Lagging/Cladding, Sanitary, equipment, similar mechanical systems and their coordination with electrical installation and BMS within the data centre.
Ensuring on site coordination between trades and assisting in the continuous improvement mentality employed by the company.
Assist in the management and supervision of site personnel
Supervising various subcontractors, and around 15 operatives
Qualifications:
Mechanical Trade Qualification
5 years + Data Centre experience
Up to date CSCS card and SSSTS or SMSTS
Previous experience in a supervisory role on large projects
Previous experience in Mechanical Installations on data centre,
Excellent communication skills
Proven track record working on fast paced construction programmes within a critical environment
Ability to work from construction programmes and prioritise workloads.
Setting out installations from drawings and hand marking for amendments for the CAD Team.
Ensure materials are of correct standard and meet required standards.
Writing site progress reports.
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
A good working knowledge of health and safety procedures.
