We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services in the UK and we are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to working on Mogden Sewage Treatment Works resilience scheme during AMP7.
We are now recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor to supervise all mechanical activities on our £65m Mogden project scheme.
Key Responsibilities
In this exciting Mechanical Supervisor role, you'll be the key technical support for the client, support staff and workforce, You'll ensure the site is operated in a safe manner and embrace a safety culture in line with the relevant SHE standards and Kier Group safety standards. You'll undertake site inductions, toolbox talks and maintain supervision of specialist sub-contractors, coordination and management of the site operational team including schedule of works. You'll also work with Mechanical, Electrical, ICA and civil colleagues to ensure activities are managed and coordinated and attend planned meetings in developing site delivery programmes.
What do we need from you?
You'll have mechanical knowledge of sewage treatment plan, equipment and processes with relevant industry qualifications or equivalent UK standard. You'll hold a CSCS Card, SSSTS or SMSTS Certificate and IOSH Certificate with a clean UK driving license. You'll also be CRB cleared and have worked within the water industry. We're also looking for a solid understanding of the statutory regulations and compliance pertaining to this role.
