Supervisors from an Mechanical background and experience in the delivery of large-scale M&E projects will enjoy working for an MEP Contractor in the delivery of a brand new Data Centre development in Amsterdam! Supervise day to day mechanical Installation activities on site, keep an up to date schedule of works. Responsibilities

  • Supervising and coordinating the construction activities of various subcontractors, foreman and chargehands.
  • Ensuring works are complete in line with timelines to meet the construction schedule for the project.
  • Taking responsibility for health and safety on site and leading by example, including arrangement of high risk activity permits and method statements.
  • Organising the required labour, machinery, equipment and materials required to complete the construction works.
  • Ensuring construction is carried out accurately, following plans and specifications.
  • Analysing and quickly resolving any work problems and may arise and ensuring that all deficiencies on any given project are corrected in a timely manner.
  • Communicating project progress to key stakeholders, clients, architects and engineers to Dornan management and General Contractor.
  • Close liaison with the engineering team to ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the latest relevant information.

Required Experience

  • At least 3 years' experience in Mechanical Engineering works
  • Experience working on heavy M&E focused projects (Data Centre, Pharma, Power Generation etc) is essential
  • Education or qualification in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience at a similar level of role
