We are looking for a MEICA Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation scope through all stages from design to handover on multiple integrated schemes, involving the installation and upgrading of treatment and distribution assets. Responsibilities

In this exciting role you'll join Kier who are a strategic partner to Thames Water Capital Frameworks across the Thames Water supply and treatment regions. Delivered through an innovative internal joint venture between Kier Utilities and Kier Infrastructure Major Projects, we deliver design & build services for new and existing Infrastructure assets (below ground) and non-Infrastructure assets (above ground).

  • Overall project reporting including collation of Project on a Page and KPI's
  • Engage with the direct and supply chain workforce on matters of Health, Safety and Well-being
  • Selection of Mechanical & Electrical supply chain and package scope based on technical and commercial judgement, in consideration of client Frameworks and a willingness to challenge
  • Line Management duties of Project Engineers, Commissioning Engineers, Mechanical or Electrical Supervisors
  • Accountability for design integration of M&E package plants and associated control and automation
  • Programme ownership and advice to Project Planner of all Mechanical and Electrical aspects from design through to commissioning and handover
  • Accountability for commercial forecast on your schemes, ensuring robust control of actual costs. Participate in forecast reviews, final cost & value review with the commercial team


Who are we looking for?

This role of MEICA Project Manager is great for you if:

  • Industry experience ideally including clean water / waste water capital projects
  • BEng/ONC/HNC qualified Electrical or Mechanical engineer and technically competent in Mechanical and Electrical disciplines
  • 5 Day - Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Certificate
