We're looking for an MEP Design Manager to join the Kier Mechanical and Electrical business.

Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire with hybrid working

Contract: Permanent, full time

KME are an internal MEP self-delivery business within the Kier group, supporting the internal regional businesses across the UK and the Strategic Projects business on complex and challenging projects that range from £5m to £80m. The business has a full design, construct and commissioning capability. The business has been operating for over 50 years with a track record for delivering on developing staff, repeat business and successful projects.

Responsibilities

Kier Mechanical & Electrical are looking to recruit a Design Manager to join their Pre-Construction team in Basingstoke.

Your day to day will include:


  • Being responsible for the design and delivery of all projects
  • Ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of required project outcomes
  • Exceeding client expectations on programme, cost and quality.
Who are we looking for?




  • You will have proven experience in MEP design management
  • Knowledge and understanding of MEP systems
  • Experience working with a leading national or regional contractor across commercial, healthcare, education or science projects and external MEP design teams.
