Location: Project specific opportunity at Wellingborough - within 1 hours commute of London and within close proximity of connection route on M1 & A14.

Introduction:

Kier is looking for a MEP Engineer to join a highly successful team in delivery of a large scale (£250m+) project at Wellingborough. As part of a forward thinking unit, this project will be delivered in a collaborative environment, adopting DfMA solutions & strong digital agenda.

This project is a key part of the Major Projects business portfolio that spans a variety of sectors including commercial, science, healthcare and custodial.
Key responsibilities:
  • General fault finding and rectification to mechanical and HVAC plant
  • Maintain up to date records of all work carried out on plant and equipment within the site manuals both hard copy files and electronic
  • Participate within an out of normal working hours emergency call out rota and be flexible outside of core working hours
  • Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues clients, customers and work as part of a team
  • Deal courteously with clients, customers and the general public to maintain and enhance the reputation of Kier
  • Ensure clear communication with customers, line management and office support staff

    • Skills and experience required:
    • Holder of a Full UK Drivers Licence
    • Holds the relevant industry qualifications, recognised apprenticeship, NVQ or equivalent training programme
    • Good communicator, verbally and written
    • IT Literate
