Key Responsibilities

The role will report directly to the senior leadership team and will be influential in project delivery strategy, will have the responsibility of developing MEP programme activities sequence, design though to commissioning and provide cohesive interfacing with the project construction programme, fundamentally identifying and monitoring risk / trend, performance metrics, resource levelling, contractor co-ordination and multiple CPA's.

Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

· Functional responsibility for M+E planning across KME

· Pre-construction plan development including maintain and developing tender preconstruction procedures.

· Review tender planning outputs to ensure they are robust, logically sound, and represent a 'work winning strategy'.

· Undertake tender planning on more complex projects and prequalification submissions

· Project planning support and oversight

· Provide independent view / report of performance against plan and review planners independent progress reports to ensure accuracy and transparency.

· Resource planning and monitoring

· Risk identification and delay analysis

· Multiple Critical Path Analysis

· Milestone tracking

· Forensic assessment of delay and impact

· Ensure 'as built' knowledge is fed back into the preconstruction process via benchmarking and development of productivity outputs

· Dashboard reporting (SLT Board pack)





What do we need from you?

You will have proven experience within the MEP construction sector in a similar role. Applicants will ideally have the following skills and attributes:

· Holds the relevant industry qualifications: Trade/HNC/HND etc.

· Understanding of MEP building services and associated interfaces.

· Demonstrate experience in management and control of multiple assets and contractors

· Understand project procurement routes and bid processes

· Ability to produce programmes using industry recognised software packages inc Asta, Primavera, MS Office,3d & 4d solutions

· Logical thinker and problem solver with good organisational skills

· Good and clear written and verbal presentation skills

· Programme and sequence management, with understanding of key interfaces and risks and ability to report on these.

· Ability to communicate technical and none-technical information relative to audience.

· High level of competence in digital construction methods BIM & Field tools etc.

· Demonstrate commercial awareness and Risk Management.

· Enthusiastic, collaborative approach
