Mid-Weight Interior Architect Job in Bath, Somerset

Exciting opportunity for a Mid-Weight Interior Architect job in Bath, Somerset, with a well-established high-end design firm that cover all stages of design for clients across the globe. The position is offered on a permanent basis offering a salary of up to £40,000.

Established over a decade ago, this design practice has become one of the most trusted and respected in their industry, combining interior architecture, interior design, and project management within one concept-to-completion, fully bespoke service. Role & Responsibilities

  • Translating design concepts into detailed presentations and supporting documentation
  • Support in the production of technical drawings including floor plans, elevations, reflective ceiling plans, bespoke joinery and custom furniture
  • Working in all project stages in line with RIBA structure
  • Assist with client meetings and presentations
  • Communicating with consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal project teams when needed
  • Site visits, typically twice a month.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years' experience working on high-end projects, ideally residential
  • Proven experience producing technical packages and bespoke joinery
  • Strong knowledge of joinery, detailing, furniture & construction
  • Experience liaising with contractors and third parties on site
  • Ability to work well under pressure; prioritising and meeting deadlines
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and SketchUp
  • On-site experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence and ideally access to your own vehicle.
