Protocol are working with a large training provider who are looking to appoint a MIS and Funding Manager to join them.
Our client is seeking to appoint a MIS and Funding Manager who has a strong track record and experience working with multi-disciplined government funded training provision. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward thinking and outstanding provider in the South West, and increase the excellent work the company continues to do.
This opportunity is perfect for someone who is currently working in an MIS management position and has some experience of funding, audit and compliance with the desire to develop themselves and work towards a more senior role. You will be responsible for the promoting the highest data integrity and compliance across the business to support the senior and operational management teams.
The role requires you to effectively manage the Apprenticeship MIS department, promoting a smooth transition between the existing and new funding rules. You will be responsible for ensuring data integrity and compliance with both funding systems running concurrently, providing strong operational management. You will assist with the delivery and monitoring of key operational KPIs.
Responsibilities:
*The management and development of the funding and MIS systems and procedures
*Provide leadership throughout expected funding transition periods
*Manage the day to day operational responsibilities for the MIS Team
*Ensure the highest level of data integrity and compliance throughout the business
*Assist with the delivery and monitoring of key operational targets / objectives
*Operate a cycle of continuous improvement that improve the business and its work flow
*Provide essential support to staff on funding and ILR requirements
*The provision of key management information to facilitate effective senior management decision making and to support the quality improvement framework
*Lead on the production and submission of compliant ILRs on a monthly to maximise funding claims
*Produce accurate funding data, based on actual delivery and projected revenue
*Manage day to day operational responsibilities of the Apprenticeship MIS team including processing start and leaver paperwork
*Manage the transition between current and upcoming funding rules
*Implement systems and processes to increase productivity and efficiency within the department
*Manage the Age Grant Process to ensure employers receive payment in a timely manner
*Work closely with Reporting and Systems Coordinator to improve systems use and report production
*Provide support and guidance to Curriculum and Operational staff on funding and ILR requirements
*Liaise with Audit and Compliance Coordinator to identify training needs, and implement training within team
*Prioritise team activities and workload, ensuring maximum utilisation of time and benefit in order that key objectives and targets are achieved
*Maintain expert knowledge regarding the use and storage of Apprenticeship learner and ILR data, particularly in relation to the Learner Management System, SFA and EFA funding system
