Package: £30k - £33k depending on experience, company van, standby & call out, including out of hours & weekends
Kier Places are recruiting today for a Mobile Electrician / Electrical Engineer, where your role will be key to supporting the delivery of a Facilities Management Hard & Technical Services solution for our prestigious client, Wiltshire County Council.
Key Responsibilities
As a focused Mobile Electrician / Electrical Engineer, we will look to you to attend and complete reactive works within the contract KPIs - this will involve completing quoted works of Electrical nature, e.g. lighting and power installation works, re-lamping of fittings and general repair, socket replacement and other repairs or installations; as well as testing and certification of all works in accordance with NICEIC regulations. You will be trusted in assisting in ensuring Kier deliver a safe, customer focused, cost effective, efficient, and compliant service in order to meet its contractual and legal obligations.
The main duties of this position will be reactive/repairs focused, but you will be asked to help with planned preventative maintenance if needed.
What do we need from you?
Is this your opportunity for the taking? We want to hear from if you have - Electrical Repairs experience within a Building Services, Facilities Management or Property Maintenance environment; you are a Qualified Electrician (e.g. City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3) with 18th Edition Wiring, Inspect and Test (2391), and can demonstrate general Engineer competence. As a bonus, you may have Emergency Lighting experience, AM1/2, PASMA, Working At Height, or IPAF certification.
Due to the nature of this position, you should have a full UK driving licence, be happy travelling across the county to different sites, and be able to participate in the on-call rota system (currently 1 week every 5 or 6) covering out of hours and weekends.
