We're looking for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join our Corporate Estate Facilities Management Team based in the Northwest area. Within this role you would be working among a great team, providing planned PPM & reactive maintenance services to Kier properties in the North of England & Midlands. There is also monthly travel to Southwest England & South Wales.

Locations: The North of England, Midlands. Occasional travel to Southwest England & South Wales.

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities

As a Mobile Maintenance Engineer, you'll be working within the Corporate Estate Facilities Management Team supporting them in various areas.

Your day to day will include:

  • Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities, using a PDA to log PPM & Reactive jobs
  • Identify and report with immediate effect any statutory or critical plant failures that will give rise to a health and safety risk to building occupants, visitors, or general members of the public to the Manager.
  • Carry out building inspections and report damages/faults, carrying out monthly testing on water hygiene, emergency lights, FCUs etc. You will also supervise and assist M&E subcontract labour wherever required.
  • First line response of all M&E equipment, ranging from AHUs, air conditioning, boilers, pumps, pressurisation units, generators, fire alarm, security, and access control systems.
  • Fault finding, rectification, planned maintenance of single and three phase power, distribution boards LV/HV, emergency lighting, motors, BMS controls, air handling units.

What are we looking for?

This role of Mobile Maintenance Engineer is great for you if you:

  • Good customer liaison skills
  • Experience of reactive maintenance/breakdowns with relevant experience of working in a large multi building site preferably in a commercial environment
  • Level 3 Electrical qualification (Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds 2360, 2330, 2356, 2357, AM1/AM2, or equivalent). Desired training in any of the following; 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018 / Level 3 C&G 2382) certificate, Initial Verification of Electrical Installations (Level 3 C&G 2391-50 or equivalent) certificate, Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certifications of Electrical Installations (i.e Level 3 C&G 2391-51 or equivalent) certificate, Working at Height/PASMA/IPAF certification, Legionella L8 certification.

Please note that as this role is mobile you will require a full driving license and be happy with regular travel and overnight stays.
