A market leading plant hire organisation has an excellent opportunity for a plant hire fitter in Skipton and surrounding areas, to join a very successful business. To be successful in the position of plant hire fitter, it is required that you are skilled and experienced in the following areas:
·Advises and liaises with customers on site breakdowns.·Demonstrates appropriate use of equipment to both customers and other staff.
·Trains junior fitters on equipment, processes and procedures.
·Offers a proven track record of fixing and servicing 360's, FTD's, Dozers, Rollers, WLS's etc
·Completes accurately all paperwork to comply with health and safety regulations.
·Orders appropriate spares for equipment.
·Diagnoses problems with equipment and establishes whether it is appropriate to repair or replace depending on costs.
·Repairs equipment to high standards.
·Inspects, cleans and services equipment ready for hire.
