Salary: £37,000 per annum, inc benefits
We are working on behalf of a housing association who are recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Carpenter to join the responsive repairs team who will ideally have experience of working within a social housing or local authority environment.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking a variety of trade repairs and maintenance work
- Renewing or repairing UPVC window espags, hinges, and handles
- Installing draught excluders
- Replacing door handles and locks
- Repairing or renewing kitchen cupboard doors and drawers
- Fixing / grouting ceramic tiles
- Stripping wallpaper
- Fixing kitchen plinths
- Installing bath panels
- Using PDAs / mobiles to complete works, key communications, and updates.
Requirements:
- City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry
- Full UK Driving Licence (clean)
- Asbestos Awareness
