We are currently in need of a Multi-Skills Lecturer to work in a female Offenders Prison based in Surrey. The role is to cover across a number of specialisms such as Brickwork, Plumbing and Plastering. This is a full-time permanent position starting as soon as possible (upon MOJ clearance).
Each prison has its own purpose built OFSTED registered education department, boasting with both fully equipped classrooms for academic subjects and custom assembled workshops for vocational courses. All subjects delivered are fully accredited with a view to the learners gaining recognised qualifications.
Suitable candidates will meet the following criteria:
*A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in subject specialism.
*Experience of teaching the above areas up to level 2 in a classroom setting.
*Have knowledge and understanding of current curriculum.
*A recognised teaching qualification.
*Competent IT skills for maintaining and updating student portfolios.
*Own transport - due to the location of the prison.
