Location: Plymouth and surrounding areas
Contract: Permanent, full time 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
As a Multi Skilled Electrician, you'll be working within the Facilities Management team, assisting in the delivery of a safe, customer focused, cost effective, efficient and compliant service.
Your day to day will include:
- You will deal with planned & reactive works to include the re-lamping of fittings, socket replacement, minor lighting, and power installations.
- Carrying out electrical tests such as annual emergency light testing, DB and RCD checks, testing and certification of all works in accordance with NICEIC regulations
- Whilst electrically biased, the role is multi skilled and therefore other task such as tap testing, HVAC maintenance and other general maintenance works within your abilities
Who are we looking for?
This role of Multi Skilled Electrican is great for you if you have:
- Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds 2360, 2330, 2356, 2357, AM1/AM2, or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018 / Level 3 C&G 2382) - 17th Edition will be considered but training would be undertaken at start of appointment.
- Ability to conduct a variety of building & facilities maintenance tasks including, water & plumbing, HVAC, AHUs & compressors.
Due to the nature of this position, you should have a full UK driving licence, be happy travelling across the county to different sites, and be able to participate in the on-call rota system covering out of hours and weekends.
