Location: Nottingham (Primark Store)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (core hours, flexibility required based on workload)

Electric Van, Mobile Phone and Laptop provided.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Multi-Skilled HVAC Engineer to join our team based at a prominent Primark store in Nottingham. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of the store's heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and commercial gas systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with the right skillset to take on a crucial role in the maintenance and upkeep of our HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on HVAC systems, including air conditioning and commercial gas systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to store operations.
  • Conduct regular system inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Work efficiently and independently, prioritising tasks based on workload and urgency.
  • Liaise with management and other stakeholders to report on system conditions and maintenance requirements.
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is completed, including service reports and job sheets.

Requirements:

  • IDEALLY a minimum 5 years' experience in HVAC engineering. Flexible on this.
  • Must hold relevant qualifications in commercial gas or air conditioning.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and commercial gas installation and maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Previous experience working in retail or commercial environments is an advantage.
  • Full UK driving license.
