Kier Places are recruiting today for a Multi-Skilled Plumber, where your role will be key to supporting the delivery of a Housing Maintenance repair & servicing solution for our prestigious client, L&Q Housing. You will be providing planned & reactive maintenance with a Plumbing bias in social housing residential properties managed by the housing association.
Key Responsibilities
As a Multi-Skilled Plumber, you will be carrying out plumbing works and basic joinery, plaster patching, wall tiling, vinyl floor tiling and brickwork, to a high level "right first time" basis. This role will require effective fault diagnosis and completing plumbing works in an occupied social housing environment.
What do we need from you?
We're on the lookout for those have a previous plumbing trade background with experience within the housing maintenance sector with experience in occupied properties, ideally with a formal qualification. You'll be able to diagnose faults, and have Unvented Hot Water certification/training. Ideally, you'll also hold a CSCS card, and be asbestos awareness trained.
Due to the nature of this position, you should have a full UK driving licence, be happy travelling across the county to difference sites, and be able to participate in the on-call rota system covering out of hours and weekends.
