At Cennox, we are looking for an experienced multi-skilled trades person to join our Installations Team to work at our customers sites fitting out their premises. As a supplier of ATM cash machines, our teams work to a project plan to remove, re-fit and the restore the device within our customers sites. Some of the tasks for each job could be restoring brickwork, tiling, carpentry, joinery, or painting walls so variation in skills is something we are looking for. Ideally, you will have a background in shop fitting, building, carpentry, or joinery along with some construction experience and a passion to learn and enhance your skillset.
You will be provided with a company vehicle and all the tools needed to carry out your day-to-day tasks. Inventory and upkeep will be your responsibility, but you will be part of a larger team to ensure SLA's are maintained.
You will need to follow instructions to complete the project plan and work with your team of colleagues as well as the Project Manager. You will also need to be up to date on health and safety, identify risks and escalate any concerns to your manager. Through this role, you will develop knowledge of ATM machines and the movement process. This position does require you to move heavy equipment using mechanical aids.
Salary is based on a 40-hour week but overtime is available and flexibility of hours are required to work around customer requirements. Some evenings, weekends and overnight stays will at times be required.
What do we need from you?
- Full UK valid Driving Licence is essential
- Knowledge and experience within brickwork, blockwork, carpentry, joinery, tiling (floors and walls) or a combination of all is essential to this role
- Experience of leading a team is advantageous
- A flexible 'make it happen' approach to work and a willingness to learn new skills
