We're looking for a Mobile Multi Trade Operative to join our team, covering North London and East London, ideally located in one of these 2 zones. Within this role, you can enjoy exposure to exciting projects, a Rewards and Benefits package, progressions opportunities and even more.

Location: London

Contract: Permanent, full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday


Responsibilities

As a Multi Trade Operative, you'll be supporting the delivery of a Housing Maintenance repair & servicing solution for our prestigious client, Grainger Housing Association. This role will be providing planned & reactive maintenance in social housing tenanted & void residential properties managed by the council.

Your day to day will include:

  • Undertaking all manner of maintenance & repair work in domestic properties, to a high level "right first time" basis in a cost-effective manner

  • Joinery, plaster patching, plumbing, wall tiling, vinyl floor tiling, groundworks, and brickwork patching


Who are we looking for?

This role of Multi Trade Operative is great for you if:

  • Possess a core trade with relevant qualifications (e.g. Carpentry, Joinery, Plastering, Plumbing, Construction - NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)

  • You have experience in a similar building repair role on social housing / housing maintenance / property maintenance contracts

  • You have Asbestos Awareness & a CSCS card

Due to the nature of this position you should have a full UK driving licence, be happy travelling across the city to different sites.
