Salary: £33,000.00 per year
We are working on behalf of a main contractor who are a growing business, operating a huge number of partnering agreements for responsive repairs and maintenance services across Portsmouth, Bognor Regis, and Worthing. We are looking for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join their busy team, solely working responsive and planned property repairs.
Working hours required are 40 per week.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance on occupied and void properties
- All aspects of carpentry including fitting kitchens, hanging doors, skirting, etc.
- Plumbing, tiling and patch plastering repairs
- Using a PDA to accept jobs, plan a schedule and sign off works when completed for inspection.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or above in Carpentry or Plumbing
- Full UK Driving Licence (minimum of 12 months)
- Asbestos Awareness (desirable)
Benefits:
- A company work van and fuel card (work use only)
- Overtime and out of hours available for additional earnings
- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday
The ideal candidate for this position must have previous experience in social housing, housing associations or domestic properties.
