MULTISKILLED OPERATIVE - CONCRETE EXPERIENCE

MSSI Group Ltd is recruiting an experienced Multiskilled Operative with a strong background in concrete works for a construction project based in Birmingham (B76 0EB). This is a 3-month contract offering consistent hours and overtime for a reliable operative who can work efficiently within a busy site environment.

Start Date: 12/01/26
Duration: 3 months
Shift Pattern: 10-hour shifts

Pay & Overtime

  • £17.69 p/h - PAYE Direct
  • £23.53 p/h - Overtime (after 10 hours daily)

Role Overview

As a Multiskilled Operative, you will be involved in a variety of site activities with a strong focus on concrete works, including:

  • Assisting with concrete pours, finishing, and curing
  • Preparing formwork and shuttering support
  • Carrying out groundwork and general civils tasks as required
  • Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Supporting site supervisors and working alongside groundworkers and plant operators
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area
  • Following site drawings, instructions, and health & safety procedures

This role is ideal for an operative who is hands-on, adaptable, and confident working across multiple tasks on site.

? Requirements

You MUST have:

  • Blue CSCS Card
  • Proven experience in concrete works
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong awareness of site health & safety
