We at Protocol are partnered with a fantastic FE college in the Buckinghamshire area recruiting for Multiskills Lecturer on a full-time permanent basis starting as soon as possible. You will delivering the Preparation for Employment in the Construction industry (Multiskills course). This is a brand new study programme for students wishing to experience the construction trades whilst developing their Maths and English skills. 15 hours per week will include a wide range of practical tasks in all trade areas and we will encourage you to develop the skills in the area that they are hoping to progress into.
We are wanting to hear from lecturers who specialise in Plastering, Plumbing and Carpentry as well as holding a strong industry background.
Role responsibilities
Full support both academic and pastoral to students during their academic journey
Adhere to all college procedures and policies including Safeguarding and Equality and Diversity
Full delivery of the Multiskills course
Planning and preparation for lessons
The person & qualifications
Hold a recognised teaching qualification
Hold a strong construction industry background
Hold experience in at least two of the following: Plastering, Plumbing, Carpentry
Previous teaching experience on Multiskills courses
