HRG are currently recruiting for a part time Music Teacher to cover Tuesday and Wednesday classes; Tuesday 9am - 4.30pm and Wednesday 1.15pm - 4.30pm.

HRG (Herts Resourcing Group- based onsite at HRC) is working in partnership with Protocol - a leading recruitment agency working with colleges, training providers, end-point assessment organisations and local authorities nationwide.

Lecturer's responsibilities

  • Delivering effective theory and practical lessons across the Music department.
  • Motivating learners to raise their ambition and achieve their full potential.
  • Ensure the College's high standard of teaching is upheld.

The person & qualifications

  • Hold a relevant teaching AND/OR assessing qualification or be willing to work towards one (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed).
  • Have qualifications in a relevant subject.
  • Plenty of enthusiasm and the ability to motivate learners.
  • Specialisms in band performance, music production and music theory is desirable.
