Our client is a growing professional services group operating nationally across the UK.
They are looking to appoint an experienced, analytical and creative digital marketing and content specialist to provide marketing support nationally and across a number of divisions.
This role is likely to require a commitment of between 30 to 37.5 hours per week, ideally 4 or 5 days and you will have the flexibility of being based at home. You may need to travel from time to time.
The role:
This is a varied and key role in a growing business responsible for the development, planning and execution of integrated digital marketing campaigns, maintaining social media presence across all digital channels to ensure the achievement of the revenue goals and targets.
You will be working on marketing projects such as the production of literature, reports, management of websites, e-shot campaigns and other marketing services activities.
- Develop and oversee the social media strategy.
- Define, develop and implement a unique and successful online social media and content strategy.
- Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns including web, SEO/SEM, email and social media.
- Ensure brand consistency is delivered across all digital channels.
- Evaluate end-to-end user experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on those insights.
- Responsible for planning and budgetary control of all marketing activities.
- Maintain and develop social media presence across all digital channels.
- Develop and execute e-commerce marketing campaigns.
- Develop and cultivate email marketing strategy and ROI.
- Devise strategies to drive online traffic to the website.
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Utilise a range of techniques including paid search, FSO, SEO, PPC, Google Shopping and Facebook Marketing.
- Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
- Track conversion rates and make improvements to the website.
- Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
- Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.
About you:
We are open to applicants from a wide range of backgrounds.
You will need to be a clear and effective writer of compelling marketing content, and you should also have a good understanding of direct marketing, email campaigns, social media and business development in a professional services environment. You will be highly creative with exceptional levels of emotional intelligence to be able to understand the needs of the target audience and customer experience.
This position requires someone with strong IT skills including competence in all MS Office applications, web-based research and email marketing software, techniques and platforms. You will need to be comfortable using graphic design tools, creating videos, marketing leaflets and questionnaires, SEO and Facebook advertising.
We also need someone who is prepared to roll their sleeves up and undertake work which may be repetitive at times, while also being able to contribute to and enhance the more strategic elements of the business.
