New Accountant / Financial Officer €65k+ Carlow
I am recruiting for a new Financial Officer/ Accountant for an expanding Company in Carlow.
Location: Carlow
Salary: Neg. €50-€65k+ Depending on Experience
Requirements: Part- Qualified or fully Qualified Accountant
Duties:
Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts and Assist with preparation of the Annual Statutory Financial Statements (Main company accounts completed by external accountants)
- Preparation of Weekly & Monthly Cashflow Statements together with Updated 3 Month Basis Cashflow Projections.
- Assist the MD and commercial department with the preparation of Annual Budgets and Updated Monthly Financial Forecasts.
- Responsibility for Company Tax matters including compliance with PAYE/PRSI, Corporation Tax, VAT etc. together with dealing with External Advisors on Corporate Tax Issues.
- Assist the MD with Development, Implementation & Enhancement of Internal Financial and Operational Controls/ Management Information Reports and KPI's.
- Identifying risks and opportunities that may affect the financial performance of the Company.
- Dealing with other ad hoc requests and projects as required within the Finance area.
- Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes, including ownership of period-end close.
- Preparation of monthly consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, including variance analysis.
