Position: Estimator / Sales Representative

Location: Cork ( Option to Work remotely)

Salary: Neg €30k-€45k+ Excellent Benefits Package includes; 25 days holidays Bonuses Flexible hours Mon- Fri)

Responsibilities :

Sourcing and delivering the right products at the right time to meet customer requirements
Build on existing relationships to encourage repeat business with customers
Managing existing supply base and introducing new suppliers when needed to ensure a measured range and timely deliveries
Planning strategies for driving portfolio growth and product promotions, etc.
Look for opportunities to grow our client and supplier base
Reviewing competitor offers and the overall market
Develop and update knowledge of existing and new products within the market
Maximising sales and profitability for the company & margin management
Identifying new trends and opportunities for new categories and products using supplier engagement and trade fairs
Visiting our client's sites/offices and working collaboratively
Proven experience of dealing with building contractors
Responsible for achieving agreed sales targets for the category
Prepare mechanical estimates for time, cost, materials, and labour
Liaise with customers as necessary to discuss their requirements and advise accordingly
Work from construction drawings, scope of works, & project specifications
Prepare and submit professionally prepared quotations within an agreed timescale, always ensuring quality and accuracy are maintained.

Requirements

Have previous experience working within Construction or mechanical services
Heating or similar experience and knowledge is essential
Previous buying experience within the DIY sector & building, plumbing, and estimating experience desirable
Be proficient in the MS Office using Excel, Word & Outlook.
Foreign language (Eastern European: Polish, Lithuanian, Czech, etc)
Full valid driving licence
