Office Administrator: A capable, proactive and well organised Office Administrator with excellent attention to detail and a professional, warm approach is required to carry out a broad range of general office, secretarial and administrative duties for a highly regarded, well established provider of structured cable and network installation services.
Offering complete managed installations across the UK and Europe from their base is Sandhurst, our client is now looking to add further administrative support to the existing team in order to provide the foundation for continued commercial growth.
Working closely with the Lead Project Manager, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate their strong communication skills alongside the ability to provide a comprehensive company-wide support service. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an office-based environment providing wide ranging administrative support to a fast-moving team in the construction or engineering sector. However, applications are encouraged from individuals with a naturally professional approach, a desire to learn and the aptitude required to successfully fulfil an important role as part of a small, successful team.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Project Manager to oversee all jobs from start to finish
- Record all purchases made on behalf of the company
- Liaise with the Client to ensure they have all required documentation from Aspire and update their systems, if required
- Ensure all Operations & Maintenance documents are completed at the end of a job
- Work with the Directors on new and existing projects to ensure data is interpreted accurately
- Answer office telephone promptly and politely
- Filing and general office duties
- Arranging rail travel/car hire/hotels
- Ordering of stationery
- Preparing letters, minutes, reports
- Photocopying/scanning
Skills & Experience
- A naturally professional, highly organised approach
- Ability to work in a team and independently without supervision
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- PC Literate and experienced using MS Office and particularly PDF. Adobe Acrobat an advantage
- Flexible can-do attitude
- Attention to detail
- Good time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
- Driving licence and vehicle
