OpenGround Technician / Ground Engineering CAD Technician (Contract) - All Major Cities - INSIDE IR35
Job title: Ground Engineering CAD Technician / OpenGround Technician
Domain: An international multi-disciplinary consultancy has instructed our search for a Ground Engineering CAD Technician. The role will involve notable defence clients/projects and will require vetting.
Engagement type: PAYE on-payroll, Inside IR35
Charge Rate per hour: up to £76 per hour
Location: UK Wide
Start Date: ASAP
End date: 6 months
Hours per week: 40
Notice Period to Contractor/Temp: 2 weeks
Notice Period to Consultancy: 2 weeks
Vetting Level: A
Responsibilities:
- To provide Engineering drawings which are core to the business and will form part of essential reports, contract documentation and project tenders etc.
- To apply and adhere to published CAD standards for Ground Engineering.
- Must be flexible and adaptable regarding CAD task programmes with respect to both client and project requirements.
Essential:
- Good working knowledge of Bentley Software's including MicroStation, OpenGround and ProjectWise.
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Navisworks.
- Be able to produce high quality output from CAD systems for use in contract documents and reports in a civil engineering environment.
- Experience working in a BIM environment.
