Operational Maintenance Manager / Project Manager
We have an exciting new role for an Operational Maintenance Manager / Project Manager to join an existing team in Wales. Initially you will be involved in the planning of heavy infrastructure works for a major rail maintenance programme; track, structures, civil etc.
This is a key role that forms part of a bid team and if successful with the bid there is a significant opportunity ahead. This is a role for a true rail infrastructure maintenance specialist and you should be able to demonstrate significant levels of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in maintenance management, processes and techniques
- Knowledge of health and safety management and compliance management processes
- Knowledge of business management processes and techniques
- Knowledge of relevant standards and procedures
- Knowledge of operational railway environment
It is likely to suit you if you have been an IMDM - Infrastructure Maintenance Delivery Manager.
As this role is likely to involve track side activity it is preferred that you hold a valid Sentinel PTS card. We will consider candidates that don't currently hold this competence.
This is a contract role that will initially run for approximately 6 months with an extension likely if the tender is successful. Daily rates are open for negotiation.
There will be frequent travel around the South Wales region so candidates must be able to drive and have their own transport.
