Gleeson Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a FTSE 100 listed firm as we support them in the recruitment of an Operations Finance Manager. This position sits within an exciting multi-site manufacturing division where you will work closely with key stakeholders across finance and site operations, providing analysis and insight to support and challenge the business, to facilitate cost control and continual improvement in operational KPIs.
The business in question requires an experienced & qualified finance professional (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) to collaborate with senior management across the division. Driving improvements in operational performance, providing data and insight into key drivers around cost, productivity, waste and efficiency that will help to influence decision making across the wider business.
The role will see you managing the cost modelling process, being responsible for the inputs and data provide by each site, ensuring consistency and accuracy in a timely fashion when attributing costs to assets, supporting our understanding of product profitability and efficiency over time. You will also assist with the preparation of investment activity programmes, producing the required financials and documentation to support projects, and helping to evaluate investments through pre and post investment appraisals.
Essential requirements:
- An accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with at least one year of post-qualified experience in a financial analysis role
- A strong understanding of financial management and reporting, financial controls and processes, implementation and governance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (specifically Excel)

The business in question can offer remote working with this position, the main site is based in the East Midlands with occasional travel required to sites in the UK.
