Working for the largest independent construction materials business in the UK and Ireland, you'll be provided with real, practical experience and mentoring by industry experts. We guarantee you the opportunity to build skills, gain knowledge and experience through 'in-role' training alongside a tailored development programme.
At Breedon we are very ambitious and you'll be instrumental in helping us to build a bright and sustainable future by assisting our management teams in running safe and efficient operational sites. On the programme you will spend time in our quarries, concrete and asphalt plants, getting your hands dirty and working alongside our fantastic operations teams. You'll be an ideal fit for this position if you enjoy building relationships and have a great sense of humour.
Do you have…?
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above including Maths, English and Science and have achieved a Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- A full UK Driving Licence - during your apprenticeship with us, we want you to experience and see everything we have to offer so you will need to be flexible to travel to other sites.
- A genuine interest in the construction materials industry - we'd love to hear about why you chose us and what interests you about this role!
You'll be supported throughout your career with us, with time out of work to attend college. Initially you'll be undertaking a Level 5 Materials Technician Apprenticeship with the University of Derby; whereby you will achieve a Foundation Degree in Mineral Products Technology and an NVQ Level 4 qualification!
