The Role: Operations Manager
Location: Leicestershire
Salary: c£45,000 - £55,000
Due to an increase in business and growth, my client has a need for an Operations Manager to join their existing team.
The Company
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business specialising in the production of electro-mechanical assemblies. Working with the Managing Director to develop new products and managing a small team it's a great time to join them to build on their already established success and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strong manufacturing expertise/experience
- Working within budgets, with experience in the production of electro-mechanical assemblies would be desirable
- Manage the design activities with familiarity with autocad mechanical software would also be a real advantage.
- Familiar with Quality and H&S having ideally worked with ISO Standards
The Right Person
The successful Operations Manager will be a qualified Mechanical Engineer (BSc/BEng/MSc) with a high level of IT literacy. You will come with a broad engineering background, ideally gained in turnkey engineering solutions or electro-mechanical engineering assemblies. You will also possess the following competencies:

A proven track record in managing engineering projects - delivering on time, within budget and meeting customer expectations
Be hands on and able to build credible relationships with Sales, Production and Installation/Commissioning.
Familiar with Quality and H&S having ideally worked with ISO Standards.
A great leader with a natural flair for leading, mentoring and developing high performing teams
