Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Birmingham
- Supervising the day-to-day activities, coordinating schedules, managing resources. while ensuring a seamless work-flow across departments.
- Identifying opportunities to cut costs or improve efficiency, and implementing strategies to streamline operations without compromising quality.
- Developing plans for the strategic assignment of vehicles based on delivery demands, geographical factors, capacity optimisation, and fuel efficiency.
- Creating efficient delivery routes to reduce fuel consumption and maximise delivery effectiveness.
- Constantly assessing the market and industry trends to spot potential areas for expansion or service enhancement.
- Identifying new delivery routes, forming partnerships for joint delivery services, or adopting innovative technologies to improve services.
- Examining the reasons behind failed deliveries or collections, recognising recurring issues, and implementing corrective measures to minimise future occurrences.
- Analysing data on unsuccessful deliveries helps pinpoint patterns or process flaws.
- Monitoring and ensuring that drivers comply with delivery protocols and safety standards verifying timely deliveries, adherence to safety regulations, and maintaining high-quality customer service during deliveries.
