We're looking for an Operations Manager to join our team based in the Devon region. You can enjoy partial remote working, progression opportunities, company car or cash allowance and even more!

Location: Can be based out of our Exeter, Hatherleigh or Roche offices, with mixture of home working and travel to sites/ offices.

Contract: Permanent, full time - flexible/ part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know and we'll do our best to support you

Responsibilities

Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected.

In this role, you will be working on our South West Water framework, and as Operations Manager it will be your responsibility to oversee the direction and management of operational business streams, ensuring good profitability and the delivery of business plans in a timely and efficient manner. You will have overall responsibility for operational delivery, commercial performance and HSE compliance for the area.

Your day to day will include:

  • Identifying risks, whilst resolving conflicts and issues where necessary to ensure the appropriate mitigation measures are recommended and implemented
  • Conducting weekly performance and productivity, whilst embracing a collaborative and continuous improvement mentality amongst the teams
  • Maintain excellent relations with our various clients, and to identify and secure new business opportunities
Who are we looking for?

This role of Operations Manager is great for you if you hold:

  • Demonstrable experience of management within the water/ electrical/ mechanical industry on the NEC suite of contracts
  • A Full Driving Licence
  • SMSTS, CSCS & Clean Water Card
