Amazing opportunity to join a client to allow them to hit their green agender in planting over 500k trees across sites in the UK.

Salary: £60,000 basic + Travel

Fixed-Term: 1st April 2025

Funding is in place for an additional 2 years, subject to targets being met.

Location: UK wide (Ideally based between Manchester and London)

Hybrid working: Working 4 days a week from home and 1 day a week on a client site

Role Description

The Resolute group has been retained to identify and secure an Operations Manager to manage multiple Tree planting projects across the UK.

This role is very much focused on the Green agenda. It supports a business in delivering successful tree planting across the UK, offsetting their carbon footprint and ensuring a green country for the next generation.

Overseeing a team of Project managers undertaking the day-to-day tree planting, your role is the master planning and coordination. Able to oversee between 10 - 20 live projects at any one time and handle the internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of the scheme. Controlling each aspect from the supply chain, timelines, logistics, tree planting and aftercare.

You don't need experience in a particular sector, this is as open as it gets for a good Project Manager with passion and drive to deliver a project like this. Perfect for someone looking to give back to the environment not career progression or looking to get promotion. This role is just about good stakeholder communication and project management delivery.

The rest is your personality, passion to deliver and ability to meet clients in their offices as required so some traveling (All expensed be it Train travel or Business mileage.)

Qualifications:

  • Experience is more important than your qualifications. Proven ability to communicate at all levels, build a rapport with clients and deliver a scheme on time and to budget.
  • Full driving licence.
