We're looking for an Operations Manager to join our Telecoms team based in Basingstoke. Within this role, you can enjoy remote working, flexible hours, and the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects of all sizes and complexities.

Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire - Work from home opportunities

Contract: Permanent, full time

Salary: £60k - £70k depending on experience

Responsibilities

As the Operations Manager, you will be accountable for all delivery for either the ONSA or Falcon contracts in Hampshire and Berkshire. You will be involved in customer and supplier engagement, direct labour resourcing and performance and ultimately responsible for delivery of accurate financial forecasting and budgets.

In this role you will be dealing with the client (openreach) across all relevant stakeholder groups and individual delivery programmes. You will be expected to lead discussions regarding contract changes, pricing and bid exercises, regular performance reviews and delivery discussions.

You will also work closely with internal stakeholders including Finance, Commercial, HR, Health and Safety and the Telecoms Senior Leadership team.

As Operations Manager your day to day will include:


  • Monitor, and analyse project schedules and progress, including identifying critical activities, and reviewing forecasts and progress achieved to date
  • Ensure accuracy of project schedules and performed version control
  • Prepare, implement, and monitor scopes of work
Who are we looking for?

This role of Operations Manager is great for you if you have experience of the below:


  • Ultimate accountability for P&L delivery of contracts; leading on regular forecasting activities
  • Provide leadership for direct reports (management level) and for broader contract teams, effectively setting objectives aligned to contract and client requirements
  • Final point of contact for complaint resolution and delivery escalations
