Cennox are recruiting for an Operations Team Manager to work within our busy and rapidly growing Operations Department at our Head Office in Camberley. Having had previous experience in a managerial role at an operational level, you will be responsible for the oversight of the warehouse, engineering, and logistics and must be familiar with all the functions of running busy departments. You will be confident in implementing procedures and managing staff as the primary focus of this position is to ensure that departmental objectives are achieved within Cennox UK.
You will be responsible for overseeing the operational teams within Cennox UK which will include, but not be limited to:
- Managing supervisors and staff
- Liaising with project managers and other stakeholders on project implementation
- Maintaining accurate reporting to monitor and ensure the efficiency of your teams
- Logistics planning and resourcing
- Employee development and support
- Carrying performance reviews and development meetings
- Interviewing and hiring staff
- Ensuring compliance processes are being followed
- Overseeing stock audits
- Working strategically and collaboratively to ensure operational success
To be suitable for this role you must have working knowledge and a good understanding of operational deliverables and physical implementation. You should be familiar with reporting requirements, have experience of team management across different departments which include one or all of warehousing, logistics and engineering and you must have a demonstratable history of retaining, developing, and supporting staff. We are looking for someone with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, someone to action change who can influence decisions, as well as drive a positive growth and improve productivity in areas that require review. You must also be familiar with MS Office and NAV and have strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of the ATM market is advantageous but not essential.
This position also requires regular travel to other Cennox sites within the UK so the right candidate must be prepared to travel and be office-based in Camberley.
