We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services, amongst other we are working on a BT Contract, and we're looking for Lead Ganger HGV to join our Telecoms team in Basingstoke.
We are now recruiting for a Lead Ganger HGV to join our Telecoms team in Basingstoke.
What you'll be doing:
You will be working on the BT ONSA contract in Hampshire and Berkshire including the Isle of White. You will lead the gang in the provision and recovery of telegraph poles on the asset assurance programme ensuring safe right first-time delivery. Whilst working in a team, you will be picking up tight tours of pole work in and around the Hampshire but mainly Berkshire area.
You will be in charge of the full end to end delivery of work planned for the day, maintaining stock levels on the PEU enabling an efficient delivery, as well as ensuring all Openreach quality standards are maintained on every installation.
We are seeking candidates who have:
- Telecoms and Copper Network experience
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence
- You must have experience in using a tablet and sending emails
- HIAB Crane Licence (Desirable)
- IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) License
- Tachograph Card
