Oracle Cloud Integrations Specialist
Location: Remote (occasional travel to office locations - up to once per month) Contract Length: Until 31 May 2026 minimum Engagement: Inside IR35
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud Integrations Specialist to support a growing workload and contribute to a range of complex change initiatives. This role involves working on both new and existing integrations, including custom components currently in development. You will operate within an established delivery process, receiving defined tasks or Statements of Work (SOW) and progressing them independently through the development lifecycle.
The position will focus on developing, maintaining, and enhancing integrations across multiple workstreams, ensuring seamless interaction between current systems and new functional elements. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure high-quality, secure, and efficient delivery of technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver integrations and custom components using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and related technologies.
Develop, validate, review, and maintain physical integration designs.
Integrate current systems with new functionality as part of ongoing change programmes.
Take ownership of assigned SOWs/tasks and deliver independently to agreed standards.
Maintain and build upon existing integration workstreams.
Produce high-quality technical documentation, including release notes and specifications.
Work within SecDevOps practices to deploy into development and test environments.
Collaborate effectively with technical and delivery teams across multiple streams.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
3+ years' development experience
18+ months hands-on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) experience (Experience with a variety of integrations using REST APIs is essential.)
2+ years' experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud
Hands-on development & unit testing of integration components using:
REST / SOAP / JSON payloads
OIC, Postman, cURL
Strong experience working with system interfaces (ideally in a PaaS environment)
Experience developing custom components using Oracle VBCS
Integration experience with Oracle ERP and HCM via OIC
Strong understanding of OAuth, IAM, JWT
Proficiency with GIT, XML, JSON, XSLT, SOAPUI, Postman, cURL
Strong knowledge of integration best practices and architectural patterns
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take ownership of deliverables
Desirable Skills
Knowledge of public cloud (IaaS) technologies, including security and IAM controls
Experience in security administration and auditing privileged access
Understanding of change and release management processes
DevOps experience and familiarity with automated delivery workflows
Strong understanding of modern technologies and platforms
Experience maintaining and evolving key technical designs
Awareness of security best practices for building and integrating services
