Terrific opportunity for a mechanical engineer to get off the tools and get into a technical sales role for a specialist firm that have an impressive client base. You'll be selling the company's services in a varied role throughout the south of England, working with good people on a daily basis.

This company provide consultancy services to firms that require their equipment to be inspected for safety and certified. As technical sales engineer,, your role will include travelling to client sites and providing a consultative service. whilst getting training and a great all round package.

Your role as technical sales engineer will include:

* Travelling across the South of England to client sites
* Working with engineers for Inspection and certification of mechanical equipment
* Very occasional stayaway and out of hours work
* Office based when not on road in High Wycombe

As Technical Sales Engineer you'll need:

* Mechanical engineering background
* Experience with compressors / pressure systems
* Ex-forces engineers welcomed
* Full driving licence and happy to travel

This new Division, Bellway Home Space, shall become operational later this year and there is an exciting opportunity to join the initial team at our new state of the art facility. We are currently looking to recruit a Production Scheduler to join the team.

The Role

The role of Production Scheduler is to undertake responsibility for production planning and factory loading activities, to ensure customer demand is converted into a production schedule that is optimised for the requirements of the factory and to manage the multi-wall packing sequence to maximise outbound logistics efficiency.

Principle accountabilities of the role include:

Production Planning

To manage the download of customer demand into the production plan and MRP system.
To liaise with Bellway Divisions to ensure the accuracy and requirements of customer demand.
To manage the conversion of customer demand into an optimised production plan that is constantly available through weekly planning reviews with technical and manufacturing departments.
To maintain and produce an accurate assembly plan for Logistics Team, outbound logistics organisations and site requirements.
To ensure the accuracy of plan data for material forecast, inventory and outstanding purchase orders.
To produce accurate manufacturing and logistics forecast data to meet business requirements.
Pack Sequencing & Order Processing

To supervise the creation of packing sequencing and detailing of accurate assembly material information for despatch purposes.
To supervise the generation and loading of production orders onto the factory systems in accordance with the manufacturing plans.
Environmental, Health and Safety

To carry out work safely and in the interests of all employees in accordance with the EHS procedures manual and summarised in the EHS responsibilities matrix.
Measurables

Accuracy and availability of optimum production plan to agreed readiness of customer call off.
Availability of sufficient volume of housing on factory server for manufacturing.
Accuracy and availability of packing sequence documentation to agreed quality level.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

Qualified to a minimum ‘A’ Level or HNC/HND.
Highly analytical and comfortable with a range of information technology and data transfer systems.
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Working knowledge of MRP systems (ideally mid range software systems).
Proven communication skills.
Experience of continuous improvement within lean manufacturing.
Methodical and able to demonstrate a calm managerial approach to planning.
Skills & Aptitude

Excellent administration and organisation skills
Analysis, numerical and report writing skills
Strong people management and time management
Strong communication, listening and problem solving
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work on own as well as part of a team
Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and outlook) and the ability to adapt to and develop new systems.
