Job Description

As a Collections Officer, you'll contact customers to resolve past-due accounts, negotiate payment arrangements, and maintain accurate records. You'll ensure compliance with financial policies, meet performance goals, and deliver an outstanding customer experience in every interaction.

Shift: Night Shift; Training is 9 AM to 6 PM EST, Monday to Friday for 6 weeks
Work setup: Permanent WFH

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of collections experience, with no more than a 3-month gap in recent employment.
  • At least 1 year of remote work experience in previous employment.
  • Experience managing 90+ days delinquent accounts and must have BPO experience.
  • Demonstrated strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Strong etiquette in phone, chat, email, and interpersonal communication.
  • Experience in debt loan collection, consumer lending, or personal finance.
  • Familiarity with underwriting loans, financial statements, or payroll processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM and call center systems with acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid judgment, problem-solving ability, and a customer-focused approach.
  • Reliable internet connection and laptop required for the interview; attendance confirmation is mandatory to avoid disqualification.

    Employer's Agent/Quantity Surveyor - London

    I am working with a close-knit and ambitious Quantity Surveying consultancy who are looking to add an Employer's Agent/Quantity Surveyor to their team. The Employers Agent/Quantity Surveyor will be based in West London.

    The Quantity Surveyor will be offered Hybrid working.

    The Company

    The Quantity Surveyor will be joining a forward-thinking construction consultancy who are looking to grow their team. Even though this is a large company, you would be joining a small but hard-working team of 30 Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and Clerk of Works.

    As a company they cover a range of sectors including Residential, Commercial, Healthcare and Education. But the Quantity Surveyor will come in and deliver Employer's Agent/Contract Administration duties for new build residential projects for Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Private Developers.

    The role of the Quantity Surveyor

    To support Pre-Contract Surveyors, perform the following activities:

    • Procuring necessary consultancy services to develop a project to planning submission/tender.
    • Preparation of robust and accurate tender and contract packages.
    • Undertaking various forms of tender processes.
    • The ability to analyse and review Contractor/Developer and Designer proposals
    • Preparation of the Building Contract.

    To independently act as Employer's Agent for the delivery of the project(s) which will require:

    • Chairing progress meetings and producing meeting minutes.
    • Undertaking all day-to-day administrative duties on the delivery of developments under the terms of JCT, Design and Build, Bespoke Development Agreements.
    • To routinely report on time, cost, and quality to the client.
    • To successfully manage the handover process.
    • To manage post-completion activities to include end of defect rectification period inspections, agreement of the final account, auditing the Building Manual.

    The Quantity Surveyor

    • BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
    • MRICS or currently working towards
    • Experience within a private practice / consultancy
    • Strong Pre and post contract knowledge
    • Excellent attitude and team player
    • Able to support with mentoring junior colleagues
