We're recruiting on behalf of a local council for a skilled Plumber Multi-Trade to deliver a wide range of plumbing and maintenance services across the London Borough of Hounslow.
Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing pipes, valves, drains, and fixtures across a range of council-owned properties, following the schedule of rates.
- Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues including leaks and blockages, ensuring all works are completed to a watertight and safe standard.
- Carrying out installations such as sinks, toilets, and associated kitchen and bathroom fittings.
- Liaising effectively with contractors and other trade professionals on-site.
- Ensuring compliance with current plumbing regulations and standards, securing first-time inspection approval.
- Accurately recording time, materials, costs, and support with estimating for potential works.
- Responding promptly to emergency call-outs, assessing and resolving issues quickly and effectively.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Electrician to join the responsive repairs team at an award-winning housing association. You will be responsible for completing repairs in customer's homes.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems in occupied social housing properties including lighting, power circuits, consumer units and electrical appliances ensuring compliance with the latest regulatory standards
- Conduct electrical installation condition reports (EICRs) to assess the safety and condition of electrical installations in residential properties.
- Carry out PAT testing on electrical appliances and equipment to ensure safety and provide necessary certifications
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults efficiently minimising disruption to tenants, maintaining high service standards
- Install and upgrade electrical systems, including consumer units, lighting circuits and smoke alarms, ensuring safety and compliance with housing standards

We're looking for an experienced Damp and Mould Operative to join a local social housing provider in North London. This role offers the chance to work within a trusted repairs and maintenance team delivering essential plastering repairs to social housing properties, with the opportunity to secure permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and treating damp and mould issues using approved methods and specialist products.
- Removing and replacing damaged surfaces, including plaster, paint, wallpaper, and other finishes affected by damp.
- Cleaning and preparing affected areas, ensuring surfaces are properly treated before decoration.
- Applying anti-mould treatments and sealants to prevent recurrence.
- Carrying out redecoration works including painting, wallpapering, and minor plastering following treatment.
- Performing minor repairs related to damp and mould remediation, such as patch plastering, sealant replacements, and basic carpentry.
- Using a handheld PDA device to receive job orders, record completed work, and update maintenance logs.
- Working in both occupied and void properties, maintaining professionalism and minimising disruption to tenants.
- Communicating effectively with tenants, offering reassurance and clear explanations of the work being carried out.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points or a driving ban within the last 3 years)
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plastering (desirable)
- Basic Criminal Record Check
