Stock Condition Surveyor Job in Birmingham
Stock Condition Surveyor job with hybrid working, covering residential sites across Birmingham and the surrounding areas. This role will involve delivering detailed condition surveys to support long-term housing improvement and retrofit programmes. Offering a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 + mileage + optional £4,500 car allowance.

Role & Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed stock condition surveys on residential properties
- Record building components, defects, and life-cycle data accurately
- Prepare clear and concise reports following site visits
- Manage your own diary and ensure efficient route planning
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as a point of contact on site
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working on residential stock condition surveys
- A construction-related qualification and/or 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong technical knowledge of building fabric and maintenance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisation and time management
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Multi Trade Operative to join a leading housing provider. In this role, you will deliver high-quality repairs, refurbishments, and maintenance services across social housing properties for local authorities and housing associations.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking a wide range of reactive repairs and planned maintenance tasks in both occupied and void properties, including but not limited to, installing or repairing doors and windows, lock changes, repairing worktops and kitchen units, fitting new bathrooms, general plumbing repairs, painting and decorating, and plastering.
- Diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues efficiently whilst adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Using an electronic hand-held device to receive instructions, provide feedback electronically, and log details of works undertaken or to be undertaken.
- Providing excellent customer service and representing the housing provider in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- Basic Criminal Record Check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
