Job Role:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day HR queries, guiding on policies and processes.

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, from drafting job descriptions to scheduling interviews.

Due to continued growth our client are seeking to hire a Heat Pump Engineer. This role will cover all areas across the Leinster region as part of the Service and Maintenance team. Candidates must have extensive knowledge of all aspects of plumbing and heating

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

· Commissioning of Air to Water heat pumps and exhaust Air Heat Pumps

· Service Call outs

· Carry out maintenance and or servicing of all products

· Use of phone and laptop to log data and provide reports

· Provide technical feedback to customers on products.

· Follow a pre-scheduled work diary and communicate with Management and Head Office.

Skill set requirements

· Excellent Fault finding ability

· A good team player

· Punctual and reliable

· Excellent problem solving skills with meticulous attention to detail

Experience

Experience in Heat Pumps is a bonus, but training will be provided by the employer.

A minimum of 3 years working in the industry as a qualified plumber.

Desirable skills and Qualifications

· City & Guilds F GAS 2079 or the updated EU 27 - F Gas Certificate and / or Refrigeration Craftsperson QQI Level 6 Award ( post 2010 awards contain F Gas Certification)

· Full Clean Drivers Licence

· Experience in Air Conditioning / Heat Pumps

· Experience in the heating and plumbing industry

My client, a leading Window and Door company are seeking a Junior Health & Saftey Officer to join their team. This role will be client facing in the domestic market and travel will be required nationwide. Ideally the candidate will have a QQI Level 8 relevant qualification with 0 - 2 years experience.

Health & Safety Officer Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Health and Safety Manager in all aspects of the H&S Department
  • Carrying out safety inspections and producing risk assessments
  • Regularly review and update Company Risk Assessments, Safe Operating Procedures and Safety Statement
  • Complete Safety Induction Training for all new employees and sub-contractors, and maintain documentary evidence of same.
  • Investigate, record and report accidents, incidents and near-misses promptly, ensuring any corrective actions are implemented without delay
  • Provide relevant accident information for insurance purposes
  • Identify new and on-going safety related training requirements, ensuring all mandatory training is reviewed and delivered on time
  • Ensure that correct PPE is availed of at all times by all relevant employees
  • Enforce Health and Safety Department Policies
  • Review sub-contractors' Safety Statements and Safety Compliance
  • Attend regular Health & Safety meetings

Health & Safety Officer Requirements:

  • A third level qualification in Health & Safety from a recognised Irish or UK institution.
  • Experience in the construction industry is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team player with hands on approach to resolving issues.
  • Set an example of enthusiasm, loyalty and hard work in the performance of all duties.
  • Be methodical, logical, efficient and highly organised.
  • Strong IT and communication skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Full Irish drivers' licence as this role will be nationwide
