Responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications to understand requirements and scope
- Calculate the quantities and costs of materials, labour, and equipment needed for window and door installations
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for various projects
- Collaborate closely with sales and project management teams to ensure alignment on project goals
- Negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best deals for our clients
- Provide input on budget management and assist with tracking project costs
- Help resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during the estimation process
Requirements
- Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry, preferably with windows and doors
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
- Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to windows and doors
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges

Maintenance Manager

An Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Maintenance Manager to ensure equipment and systems in the factory are maintained at optimum performance and machine downtime is minimal. Carry out Preventative Maintenance schedule on time and troubleshoot unplanned machine and equipment issues and deliver required repairs in quick, safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of plant electrical systems. Maintain existing system and advise on required upgrades to ensure system is safe and in compliance with required electrical standards.
- Complete machine fault finding, including, Injection Moulding Machines, Automation Cells, Robots and Ancillary Equipment. Deliver in a timely manner on root cause analysis using investigative tools.
- Lead and manage projects efficiently, both internally and with external providers (i.e. ESB upgrade, machine installations).
- Report faulty equipment, process deviations or safety issues immediately to the Technical Manager or other member of management team.
- Deliver and document the Preventative Maintenance Programme and ensure equipment is maintained to a very high standard. Implement/improve equipment maintenance procedures for critical equipment.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge for a range of equipment and to become the Subject Matter
- Work effectively within a team and cross functionally to expedite completion of critical tasks.
- Work on your own initiative and be proactive in suggestion continuous improvements for the company. Actively participate in continuous improvement drives for the department and the company.
- Management of spare parts to ensure that stock levels are adequate at all times.
- Source competitive suppliers to order from and complete Goods Inwards Dockets.
- Participate in equipment and facility installations, validations and calibrations, as necessary.
- Assist Technical Manager in day-to-day duties as required.
- Ensures that the Environmental Management System is established, implemented, maintained and continually improved across the site in accordance with ISO 14001 requirements.
Requirements
- National craft Level 6 certificate
- Experience within a similar role
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Work on own initiative.
- Good time management skills
- Working knowledge of electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Basic IT skills.

- Manage and monitor a computerised control room
- Conduct product testing on the finished starch product
- Manage the movement of finished products using a forklift
- Comply with Health & Safety Policy, Safety Rules and Statutory requirements applying to all operations within the specified line of responsibility
- Ensure that all products meet or exceed the agreed internal and customer specification and quality standards
- Assist in the co-ordination of external customer visits and internal audits
- Ensure that company targets are achieved and appropriate actions to resolve issues are taken
- Deliver improved Production efficiencies, namely Safety, Process Reliability (PR), waste elimination; first time Quality and material usages
Requirements
- Higher level qualification is desirable in one of the following areas, Engineering, Science
- Manufacturing, or food related discipline

- 2 years minimum experience within a manufacturing plant would be desirable

- Book-in stock into ERP system, ensuring 100% accuracy
- Stock sorting, marking/labelling and putting away stock to specific racking locations
- Stock check accuracy
- Goods outward activity and controls
- Pick, pack and label customer orders to achieve agreed turn-around targets
- Execute internal order picks instructions to meet manufacturing schedule timescales
- Interface with couriers to load orders for dispatch to external customers
- Adhere to 'advise' and documentation controls
- Segregate, record and report defective or damaged material
- Investigate and implement appropriate corrective action following; errors, customer complaints, internal workplace audits etc.
- Maintain a safe work environment complying with Health & Safety and Operational procedures.
Requirements:

- Valid Forklift License essential.
- Previous Warehouse Experience highly desirable, ideally within a Steel or Heavy goods industry.
- Leaving Certificate completed.
