Role Requirements:

Valid Blue CSCS Card (minimum requirement)

Previous experience in fire stopping works

FIRAS accreditation

Key Duties:

Carrying out fire stopping works on site

Applying mastic seals and fire compounds to a high standard

Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and client specifications

Salary: £25,500 - £26,000

Job Description: An exciting opportunity has become available for an Out-of-Hours (OOH) Customer Care Advisor to join a busy Help-desk team based in Salford. This is a fantastic role for someone with experience in a fast-paced help-desk or customer service environment who is looking for long-term stability, with the opportunity to go permanent. The successful candidate must be available for weekend work.

Our client is seeking a hardworking, reliable, and professional candidate who is confident handling customer queries, logging jobs, and providing excellent service under pressure.

Working hours

Part-Time Option:

Days: Saturday & Sunday

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm (Flexible)

Full-Time Option:

Days: Saturday & Sunday plus 3 weekdays

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm (Flexible)

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) related to customer service, client knowledge, system knowledge and attendance as captured in the operator balanced scorecard
  • Provide accurate records of all the details of each Service request into the appropriate systems
  • Provide a level of customer service which meets or exceeds the service commitment
  • Accurately record details of all Service Requests
  • Exhibit clear and professional behaviour when communicating via telephone or mail
  • To achieve a high degree of customer and supplier satisfaction

  • Willing and able to work weekends
  • Customer Service/Help-desk experience
  • Good Communication
  • Knowledge of computer databases and their applications
  • Planning and Organising
  • Analytical Thinking

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Ecologist to join the established and experienced team.

The successful candidate will help deliver ecology consultancy services to existing and new projects, providing ecology support to pollution emergency response.

You'll need to hold a degree in a biological or environmental sciences discipline, with experience of working within an ecological consultancy. You'll have a solid understanding of the principals and practice of key ecological field surveys and wildlife legislation. With strong IT skills, you'll be skilled in delivering high quality communications and possess excellent analytical and numeric skills.

Willing to learn new skills, you'll hold or be working towards a professional accreditation and protected species licences.

You will need to be flexible in terms of travelling and working hours depending on project locations and be prepared to work in inclement weather conditions and outside of normal social working hours. You will require a full, clean UK driving licence for this role.

Knowledge of aquatic environment legislation and its implementation, particularly the Water Framework Directive would be advantageous.
